Damain names....

A domain name is made up of two parts an organisation's name and a suffix.

.gov means Reserved for United States government agencies
.net means For networks; usually reserved for organisations such as Internet service providers
.org means For non-commercial organisations
.com means For businesses and commercial enterprises; most companies use this extension

Here are a few country codes that caught my eye:

.cc Cocos (Keeling) Islands
.mt Malta
.pl Poland
.to Tonga

Ebay is a commercial website and is located in Australia.
